I'm Olivia, a Detroit-Based actor and singer. I've loved performing since I was a child, and once I discovered Christina Aguilera and Beyonce at age 7, I spent hours a day learning their iconic songs and choreography. In awe of their vocal timbre, I always tried to emulate that sound and eventually learned that vocal mimicry comes very naturally to me. I learned the placement of a mix-belt through another childhood obsession, The Little Mermaid, as I constantly sang "Part of Your World" and tried to mimic Jodie Benson's voice. When I was 14, my parents enrolled me in voice lessons and encouraged me to audition for local community theatre productions, and the rest is history! I've worked with several community theatres in the Metro-Detroit area, and most recently performed my senior showcase at Theatre 555 in New York City. I'm a 2023 graduate of Wayne State University with a BFA in Acting and a minor in Musical Theatre, and I plan to be back residing in The Big Apple by this time next year. When I'm not performing or rehearsing, I work full-time as a nanny and occasionally dress up as Disney princesses for children's birthday parties. I also love reading and writing poetry, going on hikes and camping trips, and spending time with my two adorable cats, Albert and Salem.
